The first appointment is typically a one-hour virtual parent consultation. During this meeting, we review your child’s developmental, educational, and medical history, discuss your concerns, and determine whether a comprehensive evaluation is appropriate. If testing is recommended, an in-person appointment will be scheduled for your child. Following the evaluation, a feedback session will be held, and a comprehensive written report will be provided.

Once an appointment for testing is scheduled, please notify me at least 24 hours in advance if you need to cancel. I understand that unexpected things can come up, such as children getting sick, but where possible, please give me enough time to schedule another client.

The fee for an initial consult is $400. Both paperwork and payment for the consult are due one week prior to the meeting. Only Venmo and Zelle are accepted for virtual consults.

If testing is a required next step, another fee will be set based on the child’s age and the type of evaluation to be conducted (e.g., neuropsychological, developmental, psychoeducational, etc.). The fee includes the evaluation and accompanying report, a one-hour feedback session with the parents (and the student at a later date, as deemed appropriate), and telephone conferences with teachers and/or therapists involved in the child’s treatment.

The fee does not include attending meetings or visiting schools. If those services are deemed necessary, then the corresponding fees will be applied.

I am an out-of-network provider. Upon completion of the evaluation, written report, and feedback session, you will receive a superbill that you may submit to your insurance company for possible out-of-network reimbursement. Please note that psychological testing may not be covered by your health insurance plan. It is your responsibility to contact your insurance company to determine your out-of-network benefits and coverage. I do not complete insurance claim forms; however, your insurance company may require your authorization for me to provide a clinical diagnosis in order to process your claim. If you choose to submit for reimbursement, any information released to your insurance company will become part of its records. Although insurance companies state that they maintain the confidentiality of this information, I have no control over how it is stored, used, or shared.
